Located at the footstep of Northeastern University’s South Campus and just a short walk to the Orange Line, this 8,100 square foot site was once home to Empire Insurance company.
Beginning in the Winter of 2014, D² Development in conjunction with Boston Real Estate Collaborative began the redevelopment of this single story structure into a six story building with 16 luxury residential apartments, one commercial space and 16 off-street parking spaces. This project was completed in the Summer of 2016.
Designed by Francke|French, built by Haycon Construction, and financed by Needham bank; this project was as of right therefore no zoning relief was necessary but BRA small project review was required.
