1902-1904 Washington Street

Located along the Washington Street corridor, this once forgotten stretch of the South End lies between Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard and serves as the gateway to historic Dudley Square.

Immediately met with strong support and great enthusiasm from local residents, the redevelopment of the vacant and boarded up Suffolk Pawn Broker building continued to serve as a catalyst for several other area developments.

In the fall of 2015, D² Development and Boston Real Estate Collaborative began developing this 12,500 square foot, four story building into a five story 14,500 square foot building containing nine residential apartments and one commercial space with units ranging in size from one to five bedrooms. This project delivered in the Fall of 2016.

Designed by Francke|French, built by Haycon Construction, and financed by Needham Bank; zoning relief and BRA design review were necessary.
