38 Williams Street

Located at the door step of Boston’s historic Dudley Square, this 3,500 square foot single family brick row house was purchased off market directly through the owner and delivered vacant. Although zoned a two family, this property had been configured as three units ranging in size from one to two bedroom.

Construction began in the Summer of 2016 and a full scale gut renovation was necessary in order to redevelop the building into three legal, condo quality apartments. Additionally, zoning relief was sought to add a single story addition to the rear of the property. This project delivered in the Fall of 2017 and the building now contains one, four bedroom two bath duplex, one two bedroom one bath apartment, and one penthouse studio with a roof deck.

Designed by Vanko Studio Architects, built by Artizan General Construction, and financed by Cambridge Savings Bank; ZBA approval for a change of occupancy and increased FAR was necessary.
